PyPrint

The PyPrint software package has finally been ported to PyGtk-2/Gtk-2 as of version 0.3. PyPrint is written in Python and, therefore, requires NO COMPILING....ever.

A modified version of PyPrint is used in Pythoñol for printing capabilities. However, a stand-alone version of the PyPrint package is available and includes two utilities: PyPrint and PySpool. The PyPrint package is open source and free under the GNU General Public License.

PyPrint:
PyPrint is a simple Gtk-based document printing tool written in 100% Python. It is intended to be a stand-alone application for printing selected documents to LPRng and LPR-based printer spools. This is BETA code. PyPrint has only been tested with LPRng 3.8.12 on local printers. PyPrint requires the following executables on your PATH: lpstat, lpr, a2ps, html2ps, convert, psselect, ps2pdf, pdf2ps, ghostview. NO technical support is provided for this module. See the system requirements for full details on what you need.

PySpool has only been tested with LPRng 3.8.12 on local printers. PySpool requires the following executables on your PATH: lpstat, cancel, checkpc. NO technical support is provided for this module. See the system requirements for full details on what you need.
