IceWM Control Panel: PyInstallShield
PyInstallShield is the new installation method for non-binary .tar.gz and .tar.bz2 distributions of IceWMCP software releases. PyInstallShield is a GUI (Gtk-based) program for easily installing and uninstalling applications on both Linux/Unix and Windows. It was written by me as part of another one of my projects: Pythonol. It is now being used as the installation method for IceWMCP. Installation is quick, painless, and easy, without the need for disgusting, antequated command-line utilities. PyInstallShield features foreign language support (with English and Spanish already supported), and gives the user complete control over installation directories, and where icons and executables are to be installed on the system. In addition, PyInstallShield creates a small GUI 'uninstall' program for quick removal of software packages from your system.
